Hundreds flocked GT&T Valentine’s Day promotion
Seon Brown won the final Mazda RX8, and Valerie Fraser, the scooter, while Vidyanand Sugrim won a trip to a Caribbean destination.
Ten others won between $10,000 and $200,000 as part of the Valentine’s Day promotion which attracted hundreds yesterday. They rushed down to the corner of Brickdam and High Streets where the event was the final drawing of the GT&T TEXTMAS promotion which commenced in the latter part of November.

Qualification to enter yesterday’s promotion was a mere purchase of a “GT&T love T-Shirt” which cost $300. After one’s purchase of the T-shirt, the only other requirement was to “wear it and come down with their stack of luck”.
Once qualified, GT&T’s “lucky customers” then became engaged in numerous “unscrambling word games” for which they had to text the answers to GT&T.
Ten persons at a time texted and the first one to go through was the “lucky winner!” Customers had the opportunity to win up to one million dollars, collectively.
The final drawing of the TEXTMAS promotion included the distribution of the last Mazda RX8 and Falcon Scooter. Entry to the promotion came through a customer’s consecutive correct answers to eight random questions from GT&T. After qualifying for entry, customers’ names were then pulled from a rotisserie.
Previous promotions facilitated the distribution of two Mazda RX8, two Falcon Scooters and two airline tickets to the desired Caribbean destination of the winners.
