Several businesses have chipped in with monetary assistance to the Guyana Floodlight Softball Cricket Association who is sending two teams to take part in the Florida Cup 2011.
This softball event will take place in the USA on March 4, 5 and 6 at the Fort Lauderdale Cricket Stadium and surrounding facilities.
Sankar’s Autocolor of 86 Sheriff St., C/ville, nationwide supplier of Nexa Autocolor and 3M products, Metro Office and Computer Supplies of 127 Quamina St., South Cummingsburg, Guyana Lotto Co. Ltd. and Top Brandz, nationwide supplier of Interstate Batteries, are proud sponsors of this tour.
The GFSCA welcomed and expressed thanks for this assistance which will be used for expenditure during the tournament in the USA. Floodlight A was the runner-up last year, and is very optimistic of victory this year.
