The motor racing fraternity suffered another crushing blow yesterday when ace mechanic Errol Gonsalves was killed in an accident at Herstelling on the East Bank Demerara Public Road.
Gonsalves’ death follows that of racing driver Raymond Ally, who died in a car accident early Sunday morning near Rahaman’s Turn on the East Bank Demerara Public Road. The two were members of the Guyana Motor Racing & Sports Club (GMR&SC) and the Executive and members of the entity extend their condolences to the relatives and friends of the two.
According to a source close to the Club, a night of remembrance to celebrate the two former members’ lives will be held at the club tomorrow night.
All members are invited.
