Children does lie when dem know that dem gun get licks.  Big people different. Dem does lie when dem know that jail door a wait fuh dem. Some of dem does get confronted by de truth and dem does still lie because dem believe that somehow or de other de lie gun overshadow de truth. That was de case wid de flip flop computer deal.
Is everybody lying but dem boys seh that government people lying more than anybody else.  Dem lying even more than dem lawyers. That is why people don’t tek certain things serious. Sam Hinds tell de National Assembly that de government woulda table de Freedom of Information Bill in January. Stupitty Bill read de paper and seh January come and gone and he ain’t see no Bill pun de table.
De government promise that de hydro road woulda done by August. That ain’t gun happen. Is another lie.
Dem boys go to tek a drink de other day by a club. When dem walk in dem see a crowd round a table. Dem boys walk up to dem and tell de crowd, loud and clear, that all of dem talking lies.  One man jump up right away and seh, “No. No Sir, Abee dese nah a wuk at Affice of de President.” Was one confusion. Three of dem out of de set seh that dem does wuk at Customs. Dem boys seh that is six of one and half a dozen of de other.
If you container worth one million dollars Customs gun price it at half de price and collect de other half fuh demself. That is tek half and lef half. De radio announcer tell de nation how rain gun fall. He lie. That is when dem boys realize that de radio people is part of de Affice of de President staff, too.
Dem boys seh even if yuh tell 20 lie, it neva tun 1 truth.
