News of the woman’s death shocked many relatives and friends who were very hopeful for the Warrick’s recovery. Relatives had told this newspaper that Warrick was fully conscious and was recognising relatives.
One relative yesterday explained that Warrick was hypertensive and after she began aware of the situation she started taking it on.

Warrick’s younger son admitted yesterday that his father had always threatened to kill his mother.
“Daddy always threatened to kill me and mommy…but I never thought it would have reached this far,” the young child said.
Meanwhile, legal sources yesterday said that the attempted murder charge which was instituted against Warrick’s reputed husband, Rudolph London, is expected to be dropped.
The source said that the file will be resent to the Director of Public Prosecutions for advice, where it is expected that London might be charged with murder.
The nursery school teacher, and mother of two, was allegedly badly beaten with a cutlass by her reputed husband, Rudolph London.
It is alleged that on New Year’s Day, at Best Village, West Coast Demerara, London armed himself with a cutlass and dealt several lashes to his reputed wife, causing her serious harm.
As a result of the alleged abuse, Warrick sustained a fractured skull.
Warrick was previously a patient in the Intensive Care Unit but was transferred out of the ICU to the High Dependency Unit after she showed signs of improvement.
