National Cycling Coach Hassan Mohamed’s 2011 season is set to pedal off next Saturday at the National Park with the 18th Annual Ricks & Sari Agro Industries 11-race cycling Meet. Competitors will be relishing the opportunity to christen the newly resurfaced circuit and some exciting battles are anticipated.
The events scheduled for the day will start at 09:00hrs and races listed are:
BMX 6 to 9 years – 2 Laps
BMX Girls 6 to 12 years – 1 Lap
BMX 9 to 12 years – 3 Laps
BMX Boys 12 to 14 yrs – 3 Laps
BMX Boys Open – 3 Laps
12 to 14 years Boys & Girls – 3 Laps
Veteran U- 50 years – 5 Laps
Veteran O-50 years – 5 Laps
Juveniles – 10 Laps
Upright Cyclists – 5 Laps
School boys & invitational 35 laps.
Representatives of Ricks and Sari Argo Industries Ltd. will be on hand to present the prizes to top performers.
