Flying Ace Cycling Club of New Amsterdam, Berbice will run off their second event of the year tomorrow, the inaugural Tulsie Memorial 40-mile road-race which will pedal off at 08:30hrs at Main and Alexander Streets, New Amsterdam proceed to Adventure on eth Corentyne before return to the starting line for the finish.
Only riders from Berbice will contest this event. Prizes will go to the first six finishers to cross the line along with the top two females. Eight sprint prizes are also up for grabs.
Presentation of prizes will be done immediately after the race at the Rainbow Beer Garden, Republic Road and Charles Place with members of Tulsie family will be on hand to assist with the distribution.
According to Coordinator and Coach of Flying Ace Cycle Club, Randolph Roberts, Tulsie was a former member and donor of the club.
