Leon Moore joins Boxing 360 stable
After a few months of inactiveness New York State super middleweight champion Lennox ‘Too Sharp’ Allen is set to return to fistic duty when he opposes Jesse Orta in a 6-round, non-title fight at the Yonkers Armory USA tomorrow evening.
Since his return to New York Allen has fought twice, the last of which he secured a win and the New York State Super/middleweight title after defeating American Brinson. Despite securing the win, it was not easy going for the Guyanese pugilist since he had suffered a terrible gash over his eyes and a second round knockdown. He rose to dish out a two fisted attack on Brinson that decked the American and forced the referee to call a halt to the proceedings at 2:59secs of the seventh round. The Guyanese fighter said that he has since recovered from that bout and is set to resume his career on a winning note. His title is not at stake.
Meanwhile, another Guyanese fighter, world super bantamweight contender Leon “Hurry Up” Moore has recently joined the Boxing 360’s stable and will be making his debut in the USA shortly.
There will be no paucity of sparring partners for the two Guyanese pugilists as they are training among a plethora of qualitative champions including USBA heavyweight champion Maurice ‘Sugar Moe’ Harris, Mike Mollo, Joshua ‘The Juice’ Harris, Emad Ali, former IBF super middleweight champion Alejandro ‘Naco’ Berrio, KO king Tyrone Brunson, Angel ‘Toro’ Hernandez and ‘King’ David among others.
