Dear Editor,
Harry Gill’s recent letters reveals his commonality with President Jagdeo. Harry Gill is a pathological liar who chooses to spend his time defending another pathological liar who would win any lying competition when either say walk you have to get up and run like the devil is after you.
Harry Gill’s most recent lie to protect Jagdeo and the PPP and to fool Guyanese and disrupt the PNCR is seen as Gill states, “from all reports I’ve seen, the government’s programme appears credible,” where is the government’s programme to right the wrongs of racism against people of African descent that Gill is speaking of. To date this is not made public and only Harry Gill knows what others have not yet been able to access via the media.
This is another of his big bold faced shameless lies that his pathological state allows for him to rattle off with ease.
When he responds he must defend this latest lie and not hide his PPP politicking behind the Corbin bashing which has replaced the “28 years” mantra. Harry Gill has no genuine interest in removing the PPP from Office and is nothing more than an agent provocateur.
It is unclear where Gill developed this pathology of lies but such liars have spanned the past 50 years of the PPP’s existence, both in and out of government. It has manifested in the propaganda told to this nation and PPP supporters and the “ 28 years” talk that this nation was constantly reminded of for the last 18 +. This and violence against Indians was used to forge a wedge between the various groups and to keep hate alive.
These pathological liars have sought to make the PNCR accountable for their stewardship and for the PPP’s stewardship as well. They have sought to rewrite, overlook and gloss over the PPP reign of terror.
Today they fear for they see their ploy failing as the nation is aware of the source of public mischief.
As we approach elections with the PPP exposed for its reign of terror and corruption on this nation, Guyanese are not fooled of the origins of fires destroying government property and records, channa bombs, violence against Indians and general social mayhem and economic stagnation.
We are seeing several new PPP strategies replacing the “28 years” saga that has lost traction. Attempts have been made to make these elections first about a battle between the opposition.
It was about a floozy party setting the tone for PNCR rejection; it was about distrust for PNCR leadership, magnifying conflict and promoting disunity in the PNCR even as the PPP and AFC conflict was underplayed.
Even now PPP presidential candidates have to fight for “secret ballot” and for a democratic process to elect the presidential candidate and fear hangs over PPP candidates that their supporters will not be able to choose despite the gimmick of their public contest.
They watch the dynamic process in the PNCR with envy. No other political party in the history of Guyana has the level of democracy as the PNCR under this current leadership yet the PPP decoys like Gill seek to undermine the party with their shameless obsessive compulsive quest to drag the PNCR, its leader and even the PNCR presidential candidates into the dirt.
Decoys like Gill also embarked on hoodwinking PNCR supporters by spreading unfounded rumours of a Corbin/Jagdeo deal for a third term and the benefits of Leader of the Opposition, knowing full well that Guyanese cannot wait to see Jagdeo demit office and any agreement of that nature would place the PNCR in a negative light to voters.
PPP mental conditioning via lies and half-truths molded and shaped the psyche of a second generation of liars.
Second generation liars appear to be worse and a true manifestation, judging from the criminality and death squads unleashed on this nation that a liar is a thief and thief is a murderer. In Guyana our liars, thieves and murderers have an army of mercenaries and decoys in their service.
They appear clean but everyone knows even though they are afraid to talk and call names. Their decoys in the media are just as dangerous and would sell their souls for PPP tokenism.
The generations of pathological liars were seen at work covering up and spinning a web of deceit when Roger Khan breached the security of the Commissioner of Police and when he Khan was jailed in the USA The lies were seen in the case of Axel Williams and several like him who were granted gun licences and with the many scams from dolphins to law books.
This nation will not forget the lies told in the case of Kerzokie, George Bacchus nor the “milk drinker” all of whom were caught in the web of deceit and lies that compromised the Office of the Minister of Home Affairs and linked the Jagdeo PPP regime to death squads.
It is this bunch of liars that Harry Gill shamelessly identifies with in his defence of President Jagdeo.
Harry Gill does not identify as African or Indian and expect that his degree of shallowness and inept reasoning must be mirrored by other Guyanese.
It is certainly not mirrored by the leader he champions for at the launching of the Indian immigration monument. President Jagdeo said to the audience gathered, “Before you were Guyanese you were first Indians” Harry Gill needs to wake up and smell the coffee.
Bamboozling readers with words expressed by Bill Cosby he fails to say that Americans are all required to identify their ethnic or racial origins in official documentation.
Race and ethnic identity are real. Gill can continue to bury his head in the sand and deny who he is ethnically or by racial identity. That just adds perspective to his current state of confusion and twisted reasoning.
Decoys like Harry Gill strive for this nation to forget the “evidence” in the US courts and accept PPP lies and propaganda. He hopes this nation forgets the accusations of President Jagdeo as he meanders around the issues of providing evidence associating the PNCR and any of its leaders with gunmen and criminality on the East Coast.
Sorry Harry, you will not succeed, for while you attempt to cover up facts with fiction and dabble in personality politics you fail to recognise that many would also like your type to fade away permanently for you only serve to camouflage PPP second generation liars.
After five decades of constant liars like you messing with the minds of our youth, Guyanese are tired of Jagdeo and the PPP lies and we are tired of those like you who make excuses and cover up their lies by attacking others. This is not about Mr. Corbin, like it is not about 28 years. The new mantra replacing “28 years” will not work.
Do not hide from dealing with the issues by making this an identity parade. Let us have a conversation Harry Gill for the more we talk the more your lies, anti PNCR , pro PPP positions will be revealed and the party and leaders you attack will be redeemed.
Only a traitor to African Guyanese would condemn a Rastafarian leader for calling on a government with a track record of marginalizing African labour force to create jobs for African youth at the launching of the UN declared year of descendants of Africans.
Even at that forum designated for Africans Gill cannot stand to see Africans represent themselves and their needs and condemns them for not including other groups. Only a enemy to African Guyanese would be proud of a programme that does not exist in public and only a traitor would attack African Guyanese and African Guyanese leaders for seeking to hold this government with its record of African marginalization, criminalization and discrimination accountable for recognising the spirit of the UN year which is one for correcting the effects of racism against African descendants and not one for mere celebration, gyrations of our female hips or bacchanal style parties and shows.
Harry Gill boasts of Jagdeo’s credibility and the “personal pledge from the President that his Administration will remove obstacles to the development of African people wherever it is found.”
Maybe Gill can tell this nation when Jagdeo will start with the African ancestral Lands and the several other issues identified by David Hinds, Lincoln Lewis and ACDA.
