Turfites, accustomed to the action packed encounters witnessed at the Kennard Memorial Turf Club (KMTC) horse race meets will have their desires met over the coming months as the organisers have planned several meets that will titillate the appetites of horse race lovers.
The first planned event would be staged on March 21, the Phagwah Day meet. The organizers have promised a chockfull of excitement and urge all jockeys and horse owners to be on the ready for the challenge ahead.
According to Secretary of the KMTC, Niketa Ross, there will be races on Sunday May 15, Sunday August 14, and Sunday October 23 before the grand meet on Boxing Day. President of the KMTC, Justice Kennard has promised that the events this year would be just as exciting as those preceding them.
