Official sponsor of the Rose Hall Town Youth & Sports Club Female Cricket Team, Metro Office & Computer Supplies last weekend made a financial contribution to West Indies Female cricketer Shemaine Campbelle.
The presentation was done at the company’s New Amsterdam Branch by Regional Manager Avia Lindie in the presence of Rose Hall Town Youth & Sports Club Secretary/CEO Hilbert Foster and Organising Secretary Ravi Narine. The donation is to assist Campbelle on the upcoming West Indies tour to India.
Ms. Lindie in brief remarks stated her company was very pleased with Campbelle’s performance on and off the field. She stated that the donation to Campbelle was the Company’s way of saying thank you to the West Indies star for making all her supporters proud.
Foster complimented Metro for their commitment to the development of female cricket in Berbice and in the careers of players the likes of Campbelle.
He expressed special thanks to CEO Mr. Taejnauth Jadanauth and Lindie for their interest in the team and challenged Campbelle to make the club and sponsor proud during the tour and to remain focused.
Campbelle in response expressed gratitude to the company for their continued faith in her and pledged that she would represent the Rose Hall Town Youth & Sports Club and Metro with pride and passion always.
