Old people have a saying that goat dung does only wait fuh high breeze. And of course Rohee did say that goat ain’t bite he.
Dem boys seh that Wednesday some man explode a grenade outside Stabroek Market and kill heself. He nearly mek some people get deaf and he also hurt 19 people. Some of dem was minding people business and some was going about their own business.
Well one day later Rohee get Hammy to use de hammer and lash down all dem stall that use to mek things available at all hours of de night. In some places dem carry way de stall. De market area was a sight to behold.
That is when de vendors mek it known that some Minister place de grenade in de stall just to get a chance to move de vendors.
In one case dem name a Minister but dem boys can’t call de name. Is de goat dung story and Rohee actually seh that it had to tek a grenade fuh mek de clearing happen.
But fuh all that, dem boys did still frighten to pass by de market. People refuse to even leave fuh lunch on de day of the explosion.
De next day things relax and dem boys start fuh feel comfortable. It was too soon.
Two young people at de university mek dem colleagues run. Some jump through window. Was sheer panic. One gyal run from Turkeyen to she house in Lodge and some lecturers summon a prayer session.
Was a big squib dem use. Dem in police custody. But dem boys seh that dem wouldn’t be de fuss UG students to go to jail.
When all is said and done, dem was really stupid.
Talk half. Lef half.
