Dear Editor,
I would like to congratulate Dr. Faith Harding on successfully launching her local presidential campaign at the Square of the Revolution entitled, ‘The Awareness Jam’. It is indeed refreshing to see that the Square of the Revolution filled once again with Guyanese from all walks of life enjoying both the revelry and the serious messages that formed the two main pillars for the event held.
Dr. Faith Harding has brought a whirlwind of fresh air and vitality into the oftentimes slothful, dull and uninspiring opposition political movement in Guyana.
There is a conventional saying that a picture tells a thousand words. And the pictures of the thousands of Guyanese who turned up at the Square of the Revolution does speak volumes about the positive, charismatic, determined, and the strategic visionary characteristics of Dr. Harding who commanded the attention of all those present.
As Dr. Harding takes her campaign country-wide, I do hope that the support she and her team were able to rouse at the Square of the Revolution is replicated. Guyanese youth and women need to come out and support her as she continues marching towards the presidential nod for her party and ultimately Guyana. Guyanese from all the administrative regions must come out and show their support for Team Harding.
Faith has brought Guyanese through some of the most turbulent, crime ridden and corrupt times. Faith is here to usher in a new era of prosperity for Guyana and all Guyanese.
Guyanese need Faith.
Richard Francois
