In a Kaieteur News publication dated November 27, 2010, there was an error in an article captioned: “Timehri prisoners get additional sentences…they were caught with ganja and cell phone”.
The article stated that Magistrate Lovell was given the option of paying a fine of $30,000 or serve two months’ imprisonment.
It was, in fact, the prisoner Claude Melville who was given the option by Magistrate Sueanna Lovell to pay a fine of $30,000 or serve two months imprisonment.
