The semi finals of the General Marine over 40 open softball competition will be played this Sunday at the Ministry of Education Ground, Carifesta Avenue.
On pitch one from 09:00hrs, Industry will take on Savage and on pitch number two from the same time, Floodlights will oppose Shattaville.
At 12:00hrs pitch number one will see a clash between Better Hope and Surprise X1 while on pitch two El Commandante will come up against Rockaway.
The finals are set for Saturday December 4 commencing at 14:00hrs at the GCC Ground, Bourda.
The Female semi finals and final will also be played on December 4 at the same venue. Four R Lioness will play Trophy Stall Angels with Wellwoman taking on the winner of Crabwood Creek United Females vs Corriverton Queens.
Crabwood Creek United Females and Corriverton Queens will play their quarter final match this Sunday at Scottsburg Ground.
The General Marine Softball competition commenced in September last run by the Guyana Floodlights Softball Cricket Association (GFSCA) in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.
Winning prizes for all three categories are: Winners- trophy and $50,000. Runner-up: trophy and $25,000. Player of the match: trophy and $5,000. Player of the series for Female and Male over 40: trophy and $5,000.
