The BK International Western Tigers FC Super 8 knock-out football tournament which was scheduled to kick off last evening at the GFC Ground will now kick off tomorrow evening at the same venue and with the same teams due to the current inclement weather.
Club Secretary Dexter Cush informed yesterday that the GFC ground was waterlogged and they were forced to put off the start of the tournament which features the top 8 clubs in the city.
High Octane action is expected from the first whistle and only winners will be advancing. Set to battle in the opening games are leading club side Alpha ‘The Hammer’ United who will take on the resurgent Santos FC while Sunburst Camptown will do battle against the Guyana Defence Force.
