One of the main sponsors of the 21st Edition of the Kashif and Shanghai yearend football extravaganza, Guyana Telephone and Telegraph Company, reinforced their commitment to partnering with the organisers for an impressive 2010 event. The participating teams were also at the same time given the tournament booklet featuring the fixtures and rules governing the competition. After opening remarks from Muhammad, Rajpaul expressed sentiments that in the not too distant future a female K&S tournament could be staged alongside the male version. He was picking up on a point made by Muhammad in his opening remarks. The GT&T official went on to state their commitment to the event, which he noted, has grown over the years. Rajpaul expressed pleasure at their association with the event and the smooth running of the tournament.
He encouraged communities to some out and support the event, noting that this is a community based event that has grown and pledging continued support for this and other community based events.
