Ryan Crawford race meet heat things up tomorrow
With the final segment of the horse racing season set to get going tomorrow, all the major racing stables and over 200 racehorses are well rested and ready for the final charge with plenty action still to come for the horseracing calendar for the 2010 season.
With the horses having rested for just over a month, most of race clubs have signaled their intentions and have finalized their dates for their final race meets for this season.
A look at the racing calendar will see a number of tracks booking dates that will culminate on New Year’s Day. The Anjue and Hamlet and Norman Singh race tracks have already exhausted their dates.
The Ryan Crawford Memorial Turf Club (RCMTC) will start things off with their final race meet for the year which is set for tomorrow at their track at Alness, Corentyne.
The next meet is scheduled for Sunday November 28 and that will be the Rising Sun Turf’s Club (RSTC) meet at Rising Sun, Arima Park West Coast Berbice.
The horseracing bandwagon then goes up the Corentyne where the Port Mourant Turf Club stages their grand one day Pre Christmas end of year meet on Sunday December 12 at the Port Mourant Turf Club (PMTC), Corentyne Berbice.
The Kennard’s Memorial Turf Club (KMTC) has their two days Christmas season meet lined up for Boxing Day Saturday December 26 and Sunday December 27 at the club’s Track Bush Lot Farm, Corentyne, Berbice.
The horseracing session for this season will end at the Rising Sun Turf Club (RSTC), West Coast Berbice when Jumbo Jet holds their grand one day New Year’s Day meet on Saturday January 1.
