Beepat’s yesterday handed over a quantity of Orchard fruit juices to Guyana’s Inter-Guiana Games (IGG) delegation that will be competing in four disciplines against French Guiana and Suriname over three days of intense competition.
Making the presentation, Nestle Brand Manager at Beepat’s, Selwyn Bobb, said that his company, known for its support for local sport, was happy to be part of ensuring that Guyana succeed in the tri-nation event that will be held at various venues.
Bobb said that the gesture was just another means of giving back to sport and at the same time supporting young people in their athletic pursuit. He said that the Orchard juice is a quality beverage and should help in their rehydration process.
In accepting the donation, Director of Sport, Neil Kumar thanked Beepat’s for the contribution, stating that it will go a long way in helping to make the athletes comfortable.
He congratulated Bobb for coming forward with the presentation for the athletes.
