Mark Fordyce, Norton Street, Georgetown, was granted bail by (ag) Chief Magistrate Priya Beharry for pilfering a bottle of perfume and 23 artificial gold rings which he probably thought at the time was real gold.
The accused who was unrepresented pleaded not guilty.
The allegation was that on November 5, last, at Regent Street, Georgetown he stole the items.
The Magistrate granted Fordyce $25,000 bail and he was told to return to court on November 29, when the matter will be called again.
