Brewery giant, Banks DIH, has honoured 30 of its employees who attained 20 years of service with the company. The occasion was the annual 20-Year Club Lunch recently.
Mr. Andrew Carto, Human Resources Director, said that it was the largest group of employees inducted into the Club since the programme was launched several years ago.
He added that the Club now has an incredible 152 members, all currently employed with the company and this may be the highest number for any company locally.
The new inductees were presented with gold Banks DIH insignia pins by Chairman and Managing Director, Clifford Reis, who is also a member of the Club.
Berbice Branch Manager Mr. Reginald Matthews, who has served the company for over 36 years delivered the feature address.
The inductees were Moses Lochan, Joy Laing, Rayon Hughes, Oslene Bentt, Patricia Green, Abel Moses, Patricia Hawker, Maureen Sealey, Brandford Peterkin, Deonarine Sukhdeo, Marlon Overton, Mark Davidson, Ordly Adams, Matthew Glenn, Donald Cummings, Mahendra Narine, Jacqueline Williams, Desiree Hunte, Carlotta Thornton, Pauline Thomas, Enoch McLeod, Elon Burgess, Sandra Baptiste, Steven Waldron, Clive Burnett, Sherryl Hemerding, Berthram Rudder, Youn Rudder , Colosson Allen and Olgama Janacks.
