The All-Star Basketball Weekend will continue tonight with the biggest showdown of the three-day competition when the Wildfire National All-Stars oppose the visiting AND 1 Legends in one of the toughest challenges in local basketball history.
The AND 1 Legends have already urged the local team to bring their best game as it they will be doing nothing less to ensure that the message of quality basketball is spread in South America. It is a contest that should be balanced for both teams.
The AND 1 team, used to show-time basketball, will be pressed to show Guyana that they can play the official version while the local team will have to raise their game to be competitive against a well-established team with lots of exposure, AND 1.
Ryan Gullen, Travis Foster and Royston Siland will spearhead the local team that will be all out to impress hundreds of Guyanese fans that will support them. Tonight’s game will be one to see on both ends of the court, for more reasons than one.
