The Guyana Floodlights Softball Cricket Association will on Sunday field three teams to play at Pine Ground Centre in the Mahaicony Creek.
The GFSCA over the past years have raised millions of dollars for various organizations throughout the country and even donated $375,000 to the Pakistan Flood Relief Funds and $500,000 to Haiti earthquake victims.
These matches in the Mahaicony Creek are now being held for the fourth consecutive year for the Macouba Mandir at Gordon Table up in the Mahaicony River. For the first time softball fans in the Mahaicony River will witness a female softball match between Trophy Stall Angels and Mahaicony Women XI. Floodlights A will a tackle a Heido Squad and Floodlights B will play Combined Mahaicony.
Starting time is 9:00am sharp and these matches are sponsored by Royal Woodworking, Narine Trading, P&P Insurance and Tameshwar Bridgemohan. T-Shirts for the three Mahaicony teams are sponsored by Jai Achar.
