When Kaieteur News arrived on the scene the Police were conducting their investigations and preparing to send the man to the Georgetown Public Hospital for an official pronouncment.
A relative of the deceased told this newspaper that they made efforts in finding Waaldijk but these all proved futile. It was through a Kaieteur News article (and photograph) that they learnt of their relative’s demise.
This newspaper understands that the body of Jules Waaldijk is presently at Lyken Funeral Home.
