Girls 14 & Under
Aretta Dey defeated Afruica Gentle 6-2, 6-0 in the Final. Gentle had earlier defeated Kristie Lopes 6-4, 6-1 to ensure that she took the runner-up spot.
Dey has shown vast improvement with her game and easily dismissed the challenge of Gentle, the younger sister of Shawna Gentle, who is the number one Girls 18 player.
In the Girls 18 Finals, Krystal Sukra beat Nicola Ramdyhan 6-2, 6-3 for the title.
Sukra prevailed over her usual doubles partner to take home the top junior title as Ramdyhan could not duplicate her earlier upset over top player Ramrattan.
