Dear Editor,
Kaieteur News dated Tuesday, October 26, 2 010 carried a letter to the editor bearing the caption “Kwakwani pensioners continue to suffer”.
The management of the National Insurance Scheme (NIS) has read with great concern, the contents of Ms. Joycelyn Morian’s letter and wishes to express sincere regrets to Mr. Patrick Clinket for the inconvenience this incident has caused him and his family.
This matter will be thoroughly investigated with the view to have it resolved in the shortest possible time. Mr. Clinket will be contacted by the Publicity and Public Relations Unit.
With reference to the complaint regarding the treatment of other pensioners in Kwakwani, please be informed that this matter is also noted and efforts would be made to have same addressed.
