Under the theme, “promoting the development of harmonious relations between ethnic groups and removing barriers to participation: ensuring equal opportunities and access for all.” the Association of Regional Chambers of Commerce (ARCC) stands in full support and endorses the Ethnic Relations Commission imitative for the hosting of the one day Private Sector Conference. This is according to the ARCC.
This historic activity is scheduled for the November 18, 2010 at the Princess International Hotel, Providence, East Bank Demerara commencing from 11:30 hours with the intention of fostering greater race relations and social cohesion among the Private Sector.
The Association of Regional Chambers of Commerce (ARCC) is comprised of the Berbice Chamber of Commerce and Development Association, Upper Corentyne Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Central Corentyne Chamber of Commerce, West Berbice Chamber of Commerce, Linden Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Rupununi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, West Demerara Chamber of Commerce, Bartica Chamber of Commerce and Essequibo Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
According to the ARCC, the Association calls upon all members of the business community to participate at the conference which will see prominent business leaders from the Private Sector delivering presentations on various topics of interest to the participants, working group discussions and concludes with a cocktail reception.
