– refused entry to court
Winston Burgess, who was charged with trafficking in narcotics, on December 3, 2009, smeared his clothing with faeces, yesterday, at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court. The accused man contended that he is tired of being remanded to prison. However, he was denied entry into the court room of Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton, since he emitted an unbearable scent.
Burgess was further remanded to prison and is scheduled to make his next court appearance on January 17, 2011.
