Two men from Pomeroon River are in police custody at the Charity Police Station, assisting with the investigation into a stolen Yamaha engine.
David Mc Cloud, the victim, who lives at Fairfield, Pomeroon River, told police that his engine which was attached to his boat which was moored in the Pomeroon River, opposite his home.
Mc Cloud said that he had retired to bed around 21:00 hours on Saturday and had secured his engine. He said that he became alarmed around midnight that said night after checks were made for his engine but it had disappeared.
A report was lodged at the Charity police station and yesterday morning the police arrested the two men.
