This is a strange place. A man get charge fuh robbery under arms. He go before de magistrate and he admit that he rob one man but that he ain’t rob de woman. First of all, dem boys seh that it goes to show that de man know de face of de people dem rob although dem does only see de people fuh a short time.
Anyhow, even if de woman didn’t get rob, she smart because she mek sure that de man gun be off de streets fuh along time.
Then dem had de one who hold up de Banks truck and then run and hide in a septic tank. Dem boys seh that long time he would dead because de police woulda shoot he. This one had de nerve to ask fuh leniency.
He tell de magistrate how he need a break. She give he six years break but dem boys feel that it too li’l bit. One thing strange, though. De banks people claim how de records show that dem had about $90,000 and how de police only find $50,000. Dem boys seh that something strange happen here.
Is either de man thief $50,000 which mean that somebody keep back something or de police find something and keep some, or de man stash some fuh when he come out of jail.
If is de latter, dem notes gun be in a terrible state.
Talk half. Lef half.
