When dem hear dem want to know how a woman can tek over from Lula. Dem boys announce that Lula had a lot to do wid it and people listen to he. He change de whole economy; poor people get something.
Bharrat change de economy in Guyana too but poor people ain’t get nutten. Dem punishing. Dem boys seh that if Bharrat was to put up Gail or Carlyn, dem same poor people woulda ignore he. He is no Lula.
Manning was a man like Bharrat. He handle nuff money in Trinidad. He travel by charter jet; he build big conference centre—Guyana build conference centre too—Manning build de airport and Bharrat build airport too.
