The General Marine 15/15 Softball Tournament, which will be run by the Guyana Floodlights Cricket Association in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Youth & Sport, starts next week Sunday November 7.
Any age is eligible to play, the winning prize will be a trophy and $50,000, Runner Up -trophy and $25,000, Man-of-the-Match in the final collects a trophy and $5,000.
There will be a limited number of teams accepted, since the finals of all General Marine Softball Competitions (Females, Over-40 Male and Open Male) are set for December 5. All interested teams can call the GFCA organiser Wayne Jones at 225-0994 or 650-1790. Entrance fee is $5,000.
The organisers have released fixtures for 8 matches this Sunday Oct. 31 in the General Marine Female & Over 40 Male Softball Tournament.

10:30am- Trophy Stall Angels vs Lusignan Street Warriors
1:00pm- The Defenders vs Cummings Lodge Veterans
Meanwhile, Crabwood Creek Heroines and Corriverton Queens will be going to the Orealla Regatta this Sunday.
