Mike Schmidt sees Caribbean Fury as a Product for Guyana to sell

Mike Schmidt, as lawyer and agent for Jensen Strauss Boxing Limitee, acting as Manager for current WBA Super Bantamweight Champion Lisa “Bad News” Brown announced that the Lisa “Bad News’ Brown and Jeri Sitzes III non title fight at Casino Rama, Ontario, Canada, Oct. 30 would be broadcast live, worldwide, exclusively on Secondsouttv.com.
Schmidt also added that Jensen Strauss Boxing Limitee has aligned itself with the second staging of Caribbean Fury, promoted by Carwyn Holland’s Holland Promotions, in Guyana, on an upcoming card featuring, amongst others, top rated super-bantamweight champion Leon Moore, top rated IBF super-middleweight Contender Raul Frank, Female World Champion Shondell Alfred, and Canadian Richard Reittie, with the fight card to be broadcast by ESPN.
Schmidt commented:” Carwyn Holland and Holland Promotions have been great to work with and are a significant boxing group. The line up for Caribbean Fury 2 speaks for itself in that regard.
This is a great fight card as is the Casino Rama card headlined by Troy Ross. Of course, having Secondsouttv broadcast Lisa “Bad News” Brown fight has all of us excited and we congratulate Lisa. This will be her third fight in a row with significant broadcast coverage.”
In regards to Caribbean Fury, Schmidt feels it is a unique brand for the people of Guyana to sell to the outside world.
He added that the world was curious when it was first staged and that why he was eager to get on board this time around and assist the young group with the tremendous task of lifting boxing in the Caribbean to par with the more developed countries.
He further lauded the efforts of the young dynamic group for attracting ESPN and feels they should be commended.
As such he has invited Holland to Canada for a meeting to discuss ways in which he can be of help.
