De nuff thing does happen to mek people laugh. Two man decide that dem gun thief from a man who was going home. De man is a serving policeman. Dem mek a mistake. De police come quick and dem ketch one of dem. When dem put de man in de light dem find out that he father is a serving inspector of police.
Dem boys seh that de father shame because people now telling him that chip don’t fall far from de block.
Then another set decide to thief de engine from a boat. De watchman see dem coming and he hide under a fish box.
Dem boys seh that de man had to hold he breath and when he foot scratch he, he didn’t even budge. But he see who thief de thing. De man wait till de lef and he go to de police. Dem boys seh that he carry de police to de man house and dem ketch he wid de engine. De thief crying.
Is not only at funeral people does cry. This thief cry. But wheh cry deh laugh deh. Dem boys go to Japarts funeral. One family member talk about how good de man was in he lifetime. He do a lot of good and is suh dem talking. Good things.
Then a family member remember that he also do bad things but not deliberately. De man remember how Japarts, God rest he soul, put down pipelines in Bartica fuh give de people water. Dem boys seh that was a good thing. Is only that he put down de pipe lines wrang.
Now he dead, dem got to cuss somebody. Dem boys seh wid one voice, “Cuss Bharrat.”
