Success XI demolished Mahaica XI by 8 wkts: Mahaica XI won the toss and elected to bat in bright sunshine and started badly losing 2 quick wickets with only 4 runs on the board. The # 4 batsman Elroy Emmanuel held the innings together briefly and took the score to 41 before he fell to a stupendous catch by the mid-on fielder and thereafter the innings fell apart as 6 wkts fell for 23 runs in 11,5 overs as they totalled 64 all out. Suraj Baljit was the chief tormentor with 4-23 and was unfortunate not to collect his first five wicket haul as the tail enders were dropped twice off his bowling. He was well supported by Raymond Kareem with 3-15 from his allotted 4 overs.
Success XI in their reply reached 65-2 in 11 overs with Jeff Ramnauth hammering 48 not out which included 4 massive sixes. Skipper Herman Persaud with 2-12 from 2 overs was the only bowler to trouble the batsmen.
