-International Race Meet promotion to continue
In its effort to whip up support for the November 7 Caribbean Motor Racing Championship, the Guyana Motor Racing & Sports Club (GMR&SC) staged a motorcade Sunday afternoon where most of the local competitors and their machines were on show.
The motorcade left the clubhouse on Albert Street in Thomas Lands at around 17:30 hrs proceeded east along Thomas Road then into Vlissingen Road onto the East Coast Highway turned back at UG road, before returning to the club where fans intermingled with the competitors.
According to an official from the club, fans will get more opportunities to meet and greet the competitors ahead of the Meet where they could take photo ops with them.
