Scores escaped death yesterday morning following a two-vehicle collision that caused a minibus to topple at the junction of Smyth and Princes Streets.
The accident which occurred shortly after 10:00hrs yesterday saw persons having to crawl from the minibus.
The driver of the minibus, Chris Simpson, said that he was heading east along Princes Street when he saw the car approaching. He said that the car slammed into his minibus causing the bus to flip.
Parbattie Seecharan, the driver of the car said that she saw the minibus coming and she kept honking her horn, indicating that she was crossing the road but the minibus did not yield and they collided.
Both drivers claimed that the other party was responsible for the accident and both were taken away by the police.
