In its effort to whip up support for the November 7 Caribbean Motor Racing Championship, the Guyana Motor Racing & Sports Club (GMR&SC) will stage a motorcade this afternoon where most of the local competitors and their machines will be on display.
According to a report, the motorcade will leave the Club on Albert Street in Thomas Lands from 17:30 hrs proceed east along Thomas Road then into Vlissingen Road onto the East Coast Highway turn back at UG road and then return to the club where fans will be allowed to interact with the competitors and take photo ops..
Meanwhile, the GMR&SC have released the names of the main sponsors of the Seaboard Marine Caribbean Motor Racing Championship and they are: Seaboard Marine, GT&T, Princess International Hotel, Ready Mix, E-Networks, Auto Fashion, Skyline Mortgage, Rent-A-Tent, Carib Beer & Kings Jewellery.
Drivers and riders from the USA, Canada, Trinidad, Suriname, Barbados, Jamaica and host country Guyana will be battling each other for country and individual supremacy.
Admission G$2,000, children G$1,000, while vehicles will be admitted free.
