Sporting six-inch long fingernails must be quite uncomfortable for someone to carry around. Well, that is not the case for Judmae Richmond-George, an Antigua-based Guyanese nail technician.
When Kaieteur News reporter caught up with Judmae, she had just come home on holiday.
The well pampered woman said that she first started to grow her nails out of curiosity to see how long they would get. It has taken approximately four years to reach the present length. During that period one of her nails was broken but was reattached.
The nail technician, who is also an educator, acknowledged that she finds favour with the attention she has been receiving. The result is that she adores her nails even more.
“They are my babies… I love them so much”.
While shopping at one of our city’s hot spots, she was mobbed by persons who wanted to know if her nails were real.
She plies her trade at the Crown Plaza Beauty Salon and Spa in Antigua.
