The historic Banks Light Beer 3-day Inter Zone tournament bowls off tomorrow October 1, 2010 with two matches.
Lower Corentyne is set to clash with Central/Upper Corentyne at the Port Mourant Cricket Ground while West Berbice will play New Amsterdam/Canje at the Cumberland Ground in Canje.
Organised by the Berbice Cricket Board, this tournament, the first of its kind in the Ancient County will be used by the Board to select its team for the upcoming 4-day Inter County tournament.
The first round of matches would not feature the senior Berbice players as they would be involved in the El Dorado One Day tournament organised by the Guyana Cricket Board. Matches starts at 10:00hrs and ends at 17:00hrs daily.

West Berbice – Artley Bailey, Sherwyn McPherson, Romain Boodram, Keith Fraser, Kwesi Mentore, Steffon Adams, Andrew Dennis, Keyron Fraser, Raun Johnson, Waqar Hassan, Kenje Sedoc, Jermaine Reynolds, Carlston Nurse, Dwayne Duke, Krisendat Ramoo and Keon Joseph.
Central/Upper Corentyne – Parmanand Narine, Moshin Perkhan, Davendra Thakurdeen, Mark Lionel, Rajendra Bolo, Homchand Pooran, Rajiv Ivan, Clavern Beresford, Andre Percival, Sherwyn Murray, Bisham Persaudie, Yogindra Harrinarine, Steven Latcha, Trevor Thomas, Junior Blair, Anthony Bramble, Collis Cort and G. Nauth.
New Amsterdam/Canje – Joemal la Fleur, Raid Ally (captain), Shafeek Khan, Seon Hetmyer, Maxie De Jonge, Richard Ramdeen, Devon Clements, Eugene La Fleur, Kevin Ramdeen, Michael Newland, Ishwar Singh, Devendra Ramoutar, Farouk Hussain, Romario De Jonge, Troy Mickle, Zaheer Hussain, Kellon Henry, Kelvin Leitch, Albert Sinclair and Balram Samaroo.

Officials of both Banks DIH Ltd and the Berbice Cricket Board would be present for the official launching ceremony at the Port Mourant Cricket Ground.
