Physically Challenged cyclist Walter Grant-Stuart has once again upstaged his more fortunate colleagues with yet another convincing with at the National Park Inner Circuit.
Grant-Stuart won the feature School Boys & Invitational race in a time of One Hour 25 Minutes 44 Seconds on a sunny and humid day.
His performance was so dominant that he carted off 4 of the 8 prime prizes, the other 4 going to second place finisher Eric Sankar who was trailed to the line by Alex Mendes, Junior rider Paul De Nobrega, Enzo Matthews and Daniel Ramchurjee who made a welcome return to the local competitive scene.
De Nobrega topped the field in the juvenile race; Kurt La Rose and Michael Anthony followed in that order.Following are the results of the other races, 1st to 3rd. 12-14 Open – Michael Anthony, Akeem Arthur, Hazina Barrett.
Veterans Under-50 – Kennard Lovell, Virgil Jones, Shameer Baksh.
Veterans Over-50 – Kirkwood Kellman, Aubrey Gravesande, Maurice Fagundes.
Uprights – Ozia Mcually, Richard Charles, Andre Petty.
BMX 6-9 – Keon Harris, Nicholas D’Andrade, Rashidi Ceres.
BMX 9-12 – Adrian Sharma, Earl Rajcumar, Jaleel Jackson.
BMX Open – Lawrence Boston, Ozia McCually, Raymond Chase.
BMX Boys 12-14 – Shaquel Agard, Julio Melville, Antonio DeRushe.
