Four persons were left in a state of shock yesterday afternoon, two of them suffering injuries, when the Sports Utility Vehicle in which they were travelling turned turtle on the Linden/Soesdyke Highway in the vicinity of Moblissa.
While no names were immediately available, this newspaper learnt that two Brazilians and two Guyanese were in a Toyota Tundra heading to Madhia when the mishap occurred, around 15:00hours.
According to reports, the driver of the vehicle lost control causing it to swerve violently before turning on its top, hurling goods and dredging material onto the highway.
One female passenger suffered a huge laceration to her head and was slipping in and out of consciousness when public-spirited persons assisted in taking her to the Linden Hospital Complex where she was admitted.
