Play in the General Marine Masters Cup and Female Softball Tournament continues last Sunday with several matches. Here are the results from those games.
In the male category:
Industry Super Kings defeated Success Masters by 7 wickets at Success Ground.
Success Masters batted first made 156 for 9 wickets off their allotted 25 overs. Hakim Majeed top scored with 46 while Wazir Hack supported with 33. Jackdeo Bessessar, Jagdesh Persaud and Pooran Singh took 2 wickets each for Industry Super Kings. Industry Super Kings in reply made 157 for 4 wickets off 19.3 overs. Eshwar Persaud struck an entertaining 66 while Mike Sharma made 28. G. Seepersaud took 2 for 15 bowling for Success Masters.
At the Ministry of Education Ground, Savage Masters defeated Max Masters by 5 wickets.
Max Masters batted first made 89 all out in 23 overs. Dennis Mangroo top scored with 31. V. Ramsaywack took 3 for 19 and H. Narine 2 for 18 bowling for Savage Masters. Savage Masters in reply knocked off the runs in 23 overs loosing 6 wickets in the process. Falim Mohammed made 31 and Wallak Joseph 31 not out. Collin Graves took 2 wickets for 7 runs and Rudy Rodrigues took 2 wickets for 8 runs bowling for Max Masters.
At the Everest Ground, Everest defeated Lall Workshop by 3 wickets.
Lall Workshop batted first posted a challenging 215 for 9 off their allotted 25 overs. W. Singh top scored with 79, M. Yusuf 52 and N. Singh 38. Talesh Ramoutar took 3 for 31 bowling for Everest. Everest replied with 216 for 7 off 24.4 overs. Talesh Ramoutar top scored with 51 and captain Rajesh Singh was undefeated on 44. G. Ally took 2 for 27 bowling for Lall Workshop.
In the Female Category:
Wellwoman defeated Trophy Stall Angels by 35 runs at the Ministry of Education Ground.
Wellwoman batted first, compiled 101 for 5 of their allotted 10 overs. Victoria Bacchus top scored with 47 and Joann Van Sertina supported with 22. Trophy Stall Angels could only mustered 66 for 7 when their overs expired. Victoria Bacchus came back with the ball to captured 3 wickets for 4 runs to cap a fine all round performance and Renchel Isaacs took 2 wickets for 7 runs bowling for Wellwoman.
Lusignan Street Warriors defeated 4R Lioness by eight wickets at Success Ground.
4R lioness batted first made 47 for 8 off their allotted 10 overs. A. Ramdeo took 2 for 7 and B. Transmiter took 2 for 8 bowling for Street Warriors. Street Warriors replied with 50 for 3 off 7.2 overs. M. Cummings top scored with 17.
