Bulletin issued for B’ce robbery suspect

Police have issued a bulletin for notorious armed suspect, Samuel Fraser, following another brazen robbery in Berbice.
Police sources are claiming that apart from last Sunday night’s robbery at Alness, Corentyne, the 22-year-old Berbician has been fingered in at least two previous robberies during last month in the Ancient County.
Fraser was arrested as a prime suspect in a robbery in which the bandits used a sledgehammer to break through a wall of the property of a fuel station owner, earlier this year. However, an ID parade resulted in him being set free.
Fraser was also the alleged mastermind of a conspiracy to break out of the New Amsterdam Prison, for which he served time.
The wanted man’s last known address is Liverpool or Cromarty Village, Corentyne. He is dark in complexion and is medium built.
Anyone with information that may lead to the arrest of Samuel Fraser is asked to contact the police on telephone numbers 225-6411, 225-2700, 226-2917, 226-1326, 226-2870, 225-6941, 911 or the nearest police station.
All information will be treated with strict confidence.
Meanwhile, Kaieteur News understands that the police are looking for one of their former ranks in connection with Sunday night’s Alness robbery.
A senior police official in Berbice told this newspaper that a former Constable, who was previously held with an illegal gun, has been fingered in the robbery. It was reported to police that a victim of the robbery managed to strip the former cop of his masked and immediately recognised him.
