He visited the Conservancy at Cane Grove as well as sea defence work at Clonbrook on the East of Coast of Demerara.
AINLIM Service Manager Rex Mangroo said that the visit of Paioletti was timely especially with Kobelco excavators fully operational around the country.
He noted that Kobelco Excavators manufactured in the USA have the best fuel consumption in its category for Excavators represented in Guyana.
Paioletti also met with a representative of the mining industry who explained the conditions under which the excavators operate and according to Mangroo, the gold mining industry in Guyana utilizes 80 percent of the excavators sold locally while the other 20 percent is in operation in sea defence, Drainage and Irrigation and construction.
Technicians at AINLIM also benefited from technical training and are now more equipped to provide customers with a higher level of support.
AINLIM began distributing Kobelco excavators in 2005 following a partnership with CNH Miami, the main support centre for Latin America and the Caribbean to date it has been an excellent product in its class.
