Several teams record victories in recent action

Play in the Guyana Tapeball Association organised Super Sixes cricket tournament in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport and sponsored by GT&T, Ramotar Investments R&M Shipping, Regal Stationery and Computer Centre, Imran and sons, GTM, Babulal Mining, PSC Wireless, GNSC, Trophy Stall and Kris International continued last weekend with several matches.
Matches were contested in the Essequibo, Demerara and Berbice zones. In the results from games played:
GEORGETOWN: At Everest – (First round continued)
Game #15; Vipers defeated GT&T 7 by 7 wkts; #18 Untouchables won from Revellers by 5wkts.
Second round: #3Combine Warriors won from Royston XI by a walkover; #20 Dangerous Mechanics won from Jango Town Superstars by 20 runs; #21
Disturbing the Peace defeated Untouchables by55 runs; #22 Queenstown Masjid defeated GT Panthers by 15 runs; #23 Phone Paradise won from Leopold United by a walkover; #24 Cari Cargo defeated Tarmac All Stars A by 31 runs; #25 Tarmac All Stars B got a walkover from Young Achievers;#26 Supernova A beat Kingston CC by 13 runs; #27 Vipers XI won from Supernova B by 18 runs.
Third round: #28 Cari Cargo got a walkover from Disturbing the Peace; #29 Tarmac All Stars B won from Dangerous Mechanics by 25 runs; Supernova A beat Queenstown Masjid by 7 wkts; Vipers defeated Supernova B by 7 wkts;
Fourth round: Vipers won from Supernova A by 7 wkts; Phone Paradise defeated Tarmac All Stars B by 4 wkts; Two matches remain in this zone, will be played today. WEST COAST DEMERARA: At Uitvlugt:
Second Round: #7 Irfan XI defeated Crane Warriors by 18 runs; #8 Brutal Jammers defeated Invaders by 29 runs; Kris International Bravados defeated Leonora Sports Club by 7 wkts: The third round and Final was completed yesterday.
ESSEQUIBO SOUTH: At Hibernia Ground:
Second Round: #9 Lion Heart defeated Golden Fleece by 5 wkts; #10 El Dorado SC defeated Supernaam All Stars by 4 runs; #11 Rising Star defeated Adventure SC by 5 wkts; #12 Aurora Knight Riders beat United bros by 5 wkts;
Third Round: #13 Aurora Knight Riders overcame El Dorado SC by 5 wkts; #14 Rising Star defeated Lion Heart by 2 runs; Final: Champs Aurora Knight Riders beat Rising Star by 5 wickets.
ESSEQUIBO NORTH: Devonshire Castle Ground:
Final: Lima United SC beat Uplifting SC by 5 wkts to be champion of this zone.
POMEROON:
Final: Pomeroon Oil Mills defeated Capoey to be crowned champions of the Pomeroon.
EAST COAST DEMERARA – Ogle Ground:
Second Round: Lions Eleven won from Bareroot Strikers by 4 wkts; Minequip defeated Team Impact by 78 runs; Trophy Stall Better Hope beat Street Boys by 23 runs;
Third Round: Minequip beat De General by 6 runs; the rain prevented any further matches therefore the remainder will be played today.
LINDEN: At Christianburg Ground:
Second Round: Classic CC A beat Money Dreamer by 60 runs: Bad Boys beat Half Mile Hi fliers by 2 wkts;
Third Round: Classic A beat Classic B by 5 wkts; Bad Boys defeated Uprising by 6 wkts;
Final: Classic A beat Bad Boys by 5 wkts to become champion of this zone.
ESSEQUIBO ISLANDS: At Wakenaam Community Centre:
San Souci Falcons defeated Maria’s Pleasure by 22 runs; #2 Wakenaam Heroes beat All Stars by 5 wkts:
Final: Wakenaam Heroes defeated Falcons by 7 wkts to be crowned champions of this zone.
