The Guyana Senior All Stars Netball Team on international duties at the Annual Barbados Commercial Netball Tournament currently underway in that country are still to make a favourable impression after surrendering all three of their matches played so far.
Reports coming out of the office of the Secretary of the local netball association, Lawrence Griffith state that the local players surrendered their first game to the Barbados Workers Union (BWU) on Sunday September 12 last 60-25.
The local players also suffered a loss to Bryden, 23-22 on Monday.
On Wednesday the Guyanese played a return fixture against the Barbados Workers Union and once again suffered a 45-33 margin defeat. Mr. Griffith said that even though the local team lost the match their performance was more commendable.
The players were scheduled to be in action once again yesterday against the United Athletic Club. Details of this match would appear in a subsequent edition of this newspaper.
