Five bouts of exhibition boxing featuring fighters from the Central Police Station Boxing Gym and the Rose Hall Town Boxing Gym along with a Fish Fry and Lime will highlight fund raising efforts organised by the Management Committee of the Central Police station as they try to garner money to help with the renovation of the station’s recreational hall.
According to coordinator of the project, Station Sergeant Jairam Ramlakhan, the activity will be held on Friday September 24 at the Central Police Station Recreational Centre, beginning at 15:00 hrs.
According to Ramlakhan the recreational Hall is in need of repairs and furniture to make the lives of the policemen who inhabits the premises more comfortable and this venture is one such effort to raise funds.
The activities will be held at the Central Police station recently opened Recreational Centre and persons are asked to come out in their numbers and support a worthy cause.
Highlighting the boxing bout will be a clash between Travis ‘the Razor’ Frazer of Central Gym and Clifford ‘the Tiger’ Wong of the Rose Hall Town Boxing Gym.
