The East West Fire Basketball Club was renamed Nirva Knights Basketball Club, following the sponsorship of Nirva Supermarket. Former national junior point guard, Kester Gomes formed the club earlier this year and hosted the Celebrities fund raising game.
The Club is registered with the Georgetown Amateur Basketball Association (GABA) and took part in the League that ends tomorrow. In this photo, Gomes (left) presents a team uniform to the son of the supermarket’s proprietors, Nitin Ramkumar, as a token on appreciation.
