US body donates medical supplies to Linden
Pro of Linden fund Cathy Richards presents some of the items to Hospital matron Allison Christopher
Linden Fund USA recently donated a quantity of medical supplies and other amenities to the Linden Hospital Complex and the Linden Care Foundation.
Some of the items donated to the hospital were catheters, wash basins, surgical blades and disposable gloves, syringe needles, hospital gowns, sterile water and hand sanitisers.
The Linden Care Foundation received similar items, along with toiletries, some children’s clothes and disposable diapers.
Public Relations Officer of the Linden Fund USA, Cathy Wilson, presented the supplies to matron Allison Christopher of the Linden Hospital complex, while executive Director of Linden Care Foundation, Basil Benn received supplies for his organisation.
Both Christopher and Benn thanked the Linden Fund USA for the kind gestures and promised to make maximum use of the items presented.
The Linden Fund USA is a non-profit organisation registered in the state of New York since 1999. Its members collaborate to raise funds to support projects in the linden community, especially in the areas of Education and Health.
The Fund recently sponsored the Overseas Medical Assistance Team(OMAT) mission to linden, where hundreds of persons across Region Ten were afforded the opportunity to access free medical interventions.
